I will never forget "Trev the Rev" from my early days as a cadet at 308 (Colchester) squadron. Trev was one of the kindest men I have ever met and I have always been truly inspired by his selfless nature. I still have much treasured book which Trev gave me, a copy of a World War One pilots handbook. I tried so hard to refuse this more then generous gift, but Trev, knowing my aspirations for a future career in the Royal Air Force insisted that I had it. It is still much loved. Rest in peace Trev, you will be missed.
